Lidar
Lidar scanning creates a 3D point cloud of your track and the right-of-way; mapping the positions and dimensions of everything within sight. This highly versatile technology can be used for a wide variety of purposes including:
- + Structural clearances and platform gauging
- + Ballast profiling
- + Rail position and track centerline mapping
- + Overhead line mapping and measurement
- + Sign heights and distances to track and crossings
Reporting can be tailored to your unique needs including metric or imperial units, short and long chord, run-over-run measurement deltas, design value deltas, and local defect reporting.
360 Imaging and GPS Mapping
Track imaging allows for documentation of your inspections and verification of track component condition (ties, fasteners, joints), signage, vegetation encroachment, and more.
High-accuracy GPS maps of track centerline can be captured following a track re-alignment to ensure that your track records are up to date.
