Krab Field Software
Field data acquisition is included with every trolley and is available as either a Android-based application, Krab Droid, or a Windows-based application, Krab-On-Board.
Krab Droid offers a compact and simple user interface designed to fit a cellphone screen while Krab-On-Board provides a roomier user interface designed for Windows-based tablet devices.
Both Krab Droid and Krab-On-Board offer key features such as:
- + Real-time display of measurement results including defect limits to enable the inspector to make pass/fail assessments in the field
- + Display of battery life, GPS signal, inspection speed
- + The ability to record both point and line events in the field to add landmarks for later office analysis and reporting
- + The ability to perform automated calibrations in the field and set trolley measurements to match ground truth measurements
- + Multi-language support including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and more
