The Krab LPS provides full track geometry including gauge, cross level, twist, horizontal alignment (short and long) as well as Surface/Top (short and long) and is also equipped with a camera and lidar system for scanning of the overhead electrification system and the right-of-way.
The camera system is designed to provide high quality track images day or night and the lidar system captures a detailed 3D point cloud of the entire track environment as the unit is pushed along the track.
Office analysis software is included for geometry reporting as well as fully automated detection and mapping of platform distances to top of rail as well as OCS Height and Stagger. Track clearance inspections can also be automatically performed using custom rolling stock dimensions.
