T-Trolley: Basic Track Geometry Trolley
Looking for a highly portable track geometry trolley to give you basic geometry measurements and can be quickly disassembled for transport? If the answer is yes, then the KZV T-Trolley is the perfect solution for you.
The T-Trolley provides basic geometry including gauge, cross level and twist and is designed to be quickly disassembled to make it more compact for transport.
The base model can be upgraded to go beyond track geometry and also capture a variety of other data simultaneously including: a laser range finder for track offsets and OCS wire position (T-Metix), track images, rail profile and wear, corrugation and lidar point clouds for track clearances and OCS inspection.
Key Specifications
Key specifications for the T-Trolley:
- + Measurements provided: gauge, cross level, twist, track map via GPS, can be expanded through upgrades
- + Deployment: designed to be pushed along the track and can be set-on and removed from track by a single person
- + Electrical isolation: Electrically insulated from the track circuit
- + Maximum inspection speed: 10km/h

Customizable
Most geometry trolleys are limited to a fixed design with a fixed number of measurements; however KZV trolleys are designed to be customizable to meet your unique needs. Customization options of the T-Trolley include:
- + Laser-based track offsets and OCS wire distances (T-Metix)
- + Rail profile and wear
- + Rail corrugation
- + Track imaging
The Support that You Need
If you’re considering purchasing a geometry trolley from a generalist railway supplier with tens, hundreds, or thousands of unrelated SKUs you might want to think twice.
A track geometry trolley is a specialized piece of equipment that requires configuration of the appropriate signal filters for your network, implementation of your geometry limits, configuration of geometry graphs for reporting, and training of your staff in both field acquisiton and office data processing.
Make sure that your supplier takes the time to show you that they have the necessary expertise to configure and use the included software and that they include a full training program that covers both field acquisition and detailed analysis of geometry data in the office.
As actual users of KZV equipment, PrecisionTrack staff are well familiar with both field operation and office data processing and have the first-hand experience and expertise required to properly configure KZV trolley field software (KrabDroid, KrabOnBoard, KrabCamera) and KZV office software applications (Krab 11).
